Acadia Realty Trust is betting that luxury stores will pay high rents for locations just off the prime retail corridor High profile investors are plowing money into luxury retail spaces at never-before-seen rates - and at never-before-seen prices. Developer Acadia Realty Trust, the company behind the CityPoint project in Downtown Brooklyn, has snapped up two glitzy townhouses just off Madison Ave. for a combined $47.3 million, the Daily News has learned.
