Globe Gazette: Iowans are feeling firsthand the effects of climate change, a coalition of Iowa scientists said Friday. Those impacts include heavy rain that contributes to flooding, weather extremes that carry health consequences for people with respiratory conditions, as well as contracting more insect-borne illnesses. The health concerns related to climate change were the main focus of a Statehouse news conference where lead authors released The Iowa Climate Statement 2014: Impacts on the Health of Iowans....
