Irish consumers wary of buying online when in public wifi areas

Nine out of ten of Irish consumers are not comfortable entering card details and making payments on public wifi, such as in cafes or on trains, according to a new survey from Deloitte. According to the 'Deloitte Consumer Review - Navigating Cyber Risks', half of all consumers would cease business with a store altogether if their bank details were compromised by a cyber attack on that store.
