Whatever the price of wishes by little boys and little girls facing life-threatening illnesses, $40,000 worth will be coming true thanks to the big hearts of a group of Whirlpool Corporation a THIS YEAR'S SCOTT HICKS Memorial Golf Classic and Auction has netted $40,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee. Attending the oversized check presentation at the Whirlpool Cleveland Division manufacturing plant recently were, from left, Gary Nowlin, Jill Culpepper and Jeremy Monger, representing Whirlpool; Catherine Fowlkes, Make-A-Wish; Bob Lewis, Make-A-Wish president; Stephanie Wilkins, Make-A-Wish director of development; and James Brown, Dwayne Parrot, Cathy Brown, Chris Walden, Dutch Van Zandt and Chuck Looney, Whirlpool.
