Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Louanna R. Henry; two daughters: Kathy Temple of Altoona and Kimberly Peck of Duncansville; a son, James A. Jr. of Williamsburg; a stepson, Stephen Kenawell of McKee; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Helen Black of Tyrone and Verna Verbonitz and Ruth Reneker, both of Williamsburg; and two brothers: William of Williamsburg and Robert of Tyrone. James was a 1958 graduate of Williamsburg High School and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam conflict.
