Japan's apparel imports have sharply declined in 2014 in US$ terms, reflecting the fall of the yen against the dollar. China's share of the market is eventually declining, in line with a surge of shipments from a series of low-cost countries, and primarily from Vietnam. Our report provides a comprehensive view of Japan's apparel import data in full 2014, per major origin and per HS 4-digit category of products over the last 5 to 10 years.
