Environment News Service: People across Japan today marked the second anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated northeastern Honshu island on March 11, 2011 with memorial ceremonies, speeches and promises. More than 300,000 people are still in temporary housing and nearly all the country`s nuclear power plants are closed.
