Serco and Proud Make a difference every day. For one of our Customer, a European Institution we are looking for an Application Developer with at least 59 years of relevant work experience. Main Responsibilities The postholder will focus on the below main responsibilities The requested expertise concerns the backend, meaning everything related, to the business logic, performance, security and persistence layers in Web applications. Develop REST APIs Analyse and implement new functionalities, Apply corrective maintenance to existing systems Deploy new releases in different environments Analyse, implement and maintain the database model Write tests Write technical documentation Successful Candidate In order to execute the above mentioned tasks, the following expertise is required Excellent knowledge of JavaJEE frameworks and build tools Spring, Maven, etc. Good knowledge of modular architectures Good knowledge of Agile methodologies Good knowledge of TDD Tests Driven Development Good knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL and PLSQL Good knowledge of RESTSOAP APIs Good writing skills Knowledge of frontend technologies HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, npm, ngrx, etc.. Service Locations The activities will be performed onsite at JRC Ispra premises. Languages The working languages are English and Italian. Deliverables and reports are to be written preferably in English but could also be provided, subject to agreement of the designated staff member of the EURL GMFF laboratory andor IT support, in Italian.
