Job cuts related to the oil slump decrease

In May, just over 1,000 job cuts announced by U.S.-based companies were attributed to the drop in oil prices, according to data released by Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. , a Chicago-based outplacement consultancy. By contrast, April saw nearly 21,000 jobs cuts attributed to the slump.
