The recladding project for the exterior of the 9-story Johns Hopkins Hospital Nelson/Harvey Tower inpatient facility is in the home stretch. The 158 SlenderWall panels (27,164 sq. ft.) designed with factory-applied Endicott brick facing and closed-cell foam insulation were successfully installed by Smith-Midland Corporation throughout the spring and summer. Now Whiting-Turner Construction will work to complete the rest of the interior and exterior restoration by the spring of 2014.
