JCI is basically three companies in one and breaking it into its component parts will unlock a surprising amount of value for those who stick with it. I have previously written about Johnson Control's evolution from an auto parts manufacturer into a multi-industrial with a focus on energy efficient buildings and energy storage and this past Tuesday I wrote about the mechanics of the JCI merger deal with Tyco that will take effect at the end of September .
