Joy Global cuts guidance as profit, sales miss

Joy Global Inc. on Thursday reported worse-than-expected profit and revenue for its latest quarter as weak demand for commodities continues to batter the mining-equipment maker. Joy warned in December that 2015 would be another challenging year amid an unfavorable pricing environment and falling industry investment in new equipment.
