Junior Legal Counsel Corporate Finance Luxembourg Betzdorf Integrated in a small team of legal experts which is managing all SES group affiliates, you will provide legal assistance in all legal, contractual and compliance matters related to the function of the Legal Services Corporate Finance department. You will have the opportunity to learn and evolve in a collective and challenging Legal domain, working with Senior Legal Counsels on a wide range of global Corporate Finance legal topics such as Company affiliate management or support to treasury and finance operations. You will also provide support on Compliance and Development legal topics. Your Responsibilities Liaise with relevant contacts based in other SES locations for the organization and management of affiliates managed out of these locations Ensure compliance with corporate legal requirements for all Betzdorf Luxembourgmanaged entities Company secretarial work in relation to settingup new SES entities Handle of legal aspects related to treasury and finance operations Be a contact person for all corporate and administrative documents and information requested externally as well as internally Draft, review and comment on intercompany contracts Research and draft memoranda on corporate law matters Liaise with specialized outside legal advisors when necessary Monitor the evolution of legal and corporate related issues in Luxembourg, be aware of any change in lawpublic policy Assist the VP Legal Services, Corporate and Finance in the framework of tax and corporate reorganizations including mergers and liquidations as well as compliance related matters Assist in transactional, jointventure and MA due diligence reviews, document preparation and negotiations, ensuring compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex Development agreements in support of a broad spectrum of development and business activities Your Competencies Capability to work in an accurate and organised manner with proven attention to detail Flexibility and teamspirit Good interpersonal relations and communications skills written and oral Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines Proactive approach, cando mentality and ability to work autonomously Rapidity in acquiring new knowledge Your Qualifications Experience Graduated from studies in law minimum M2 or LL.M A first experience gained as an intern or junior lawyer within a law firm or corporate legal function would be an asset Demonstrated interest in Corporate law Strong interest in the media telecommunication business Computer literacy Word, Excel, PowerPoint Fluency in English. French or German is an advantage and additional European languages are considered an asset Excellent English drafting skills are necessary We offer you A diverse workplace.
