KC signs 'smart city' deal with Cisco, Sprint

Kansas City on Thursday signed a "smart city" agreement with Cisco Systems Inc. and Sprint Corp. The more than $15 million plan aims to upgrade infrastructure and promote technological innovation in Downtown, mainly in the area along the streetcar line.
