Tim Barton , founder of Freightquote , and Roshann Parris , founder and CEO of Parris Communications Inc. , are receiving the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award for their "dedication to business excellence, community service and commitment to KU." Barton graduated from KU in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
