Kauai Safeway-anchored shopping center to open in Q2 2015

A Safeway subsidiary plans to open its 122,400-square-foot Safeway-anchored Hokulei Village shopping center in Lihue on Kauai near Kukui Grove Center in the second quarter of 2015, a company spokeswoman told PBN this week. The shopping center, which started construction about a year ago at the corner of Kaumualii Highway and Nuhou Street, will be one of the newest and largest retail developments on the Garden Isle.
