Kennametal names new president, CEO, chairman of the board

Kennametal today named Avery Dennison Corp. executive Donald A. Nolan president and CEO, effective Dec. 31. Mr. Nolan, 54, succeeds Carlos Cardoso, who announced his retirement in August. The Latrobe tool maker also said its board has elected lead director William R. Newlin, chairman of Newlin Investment Company, chairman of the board, effective immediately.
