Kenya: Board Set Up to Tackle Kakamega Sugar Wars

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has formed a committee to look into the problems facing sugarcane farming in the county. The 12-member committee chaired by the county's agriculture minister Penina Mukabane. It is tasked with ending conflicts among rival millers in the county, addressing farmers' grievances against millers and making sugarcane farming attractive.
