Kochs bankroll new effort to help indigent clients

The company run by the conservative billionaire Charles Koch is underwriting a new effort to help public defenders who represent poor clients. Koch Industries announced a "major grant" Tuesday to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers to provide scholarships and training for those who represent indigent clients.
