Kroger cited after worker slices off fingertip with band saw

Federal regulators have proposed fining Kroger more than $45,000 after a Cincinnati grocery store employee sliced off his fingertip while butchering meat. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says a band saw didn't have adequate guarding for cutting meat and hadn't been properly adjusted.
