Kroger working toward demolition of former bakery

The next step in the construction of Kroger's Marketplace store in Columbus is demolition of the former Dolly Madison bakery. Kroger finalized the purchase of the 11.5-acre site at 3060 N. National Road on Nov. 20 for $3.3 million from Flowers Baking Co.
