Your Mission DLR GfR mbH has been awarded by Spaceopal with the contract for the Galileo Service operator tasks associated to the Galileo Control Centre Germany. One of the major pillars in conducting the assigned task is the Industrial Supply Chain of the project to secure support from industry for certain work packages. This undertaking is closely linked to the other lines of providing the service and close coordination of managerial and technical aspects of essence. The technical manager is part of the industrial supply chain team. The following bullets will detailed the specific tasks for this position Responsibilities Analyze the need for subcontracting tasks to Industry based on the GfR contract Lead the entire process of defining the support up to contract signature and hand over to technical lines. Derive the requirements, specifications, defining work packages, SLAsKPIs and contractual needs Handle change requests from GfRs customer Highlight conflicts and risks Skill Requirements Master in engineering or equal certificates Being able to understand complex environmentstechnical requirements and provide recommendations to the team and line manager Understanding of space and ground system architectures, backround in systems engineering is an asset Fluent in English in reading, writing and spoken language Vast experience in writing Requests for Proposals, Requirement Definition and Procurement On the job experience with contract management form negotiation, over signature and controlling, incl. initiating change requests and claim management Experience in working in EU funded Projects Negotiation skills
