By providing flat, even lighting without shadows across full area, Diffuse Axial LED Illuminator overcomes glare presented by microscopic inspection and imaging of shiny surfaces. This microscope accessory, powered by plug-in light controller with dimmer, mounts objective lens and spreads light rays in different directions to create contrast between specular, diffuse, and absorptive planes. Aperture size is 50 x 50 mm, and white LEDs have 20,000 hr lifespan.
