LG Electronics posts Q2 sales up 4%, higher operating profit

(Telecompaper) LG Electronics reported higher second-quarter results in its preliminary report. Revenues are expected to be 3.9 percent higher at nearly KRW 13.6 trillion, and the operating profit is expected up 13.6 percent year-on-year to KRW 664 billion. Compared to the first quarter, the results are down respectively 0.7 and 27.9 percent.
