LG adds three new tablets in G Pad series

2014-05-12 09:27:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) LG Electronics (LG) is adding three new tablets to its G Pad series. The new G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 will be unveiled during the MedPI 2014 IT/Tech trade show set to take place in Monaco on 13-16 May. CEO Jong-seok Park said the devices were built for a diverse target audience, to satisfy some customers who said they wanted a wider range of devices with sizable screens, and others saying they wanted better portability. The G Pad 7.0 is designed to be held in one hand and is LG's smallest tablet. Billed as an on-the-go entertainment hub, it delivers both portability and power. The G Pad 8.0 mid-sized tablet features an 8-inch display while the G Pad 10.1 sports the largest display (10-inch) and highest battery power. More details of the new devices will be announced locally in the weeks ahead. All the new tablets will include LG's UX features such as an updated version of QPair 2.0 and Knock Code.
