LG expands LII series of smartphones

(Telecompaper) LG has confirmed three new smartphones in its L series. The LG Optimus L1 II, L4 II and L9 II follow the L3 II, L5 II and L7 II introduced earlier this year. The L9 II has a 4.7-inch True HD IPS screen, 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 2150 mAh battery, infrared Quick Remote and support for dual-carrier HSPA. The mid-range L4 II comes with a 3.8-inch IPS display, 1.0 GHz processor and 1700 mAh battery, and the entry-level L1 II offers a 3.0-inch TFT display, 1.0 GHz processor and 1540 mAh battery. The company said the L4 II is available in Belgium and the Netherlands at MediaMarkt and Saturn shops for EUR 129, including a 8GB memory card. The L1 II will be available from mid-September and the L9 II is expected in October.
