(Telecompaper) European operator Lebara announced the launch of a MVNO in Saudi Arabia. Lebara Mobile KSA is a Saudi company supported by an alliance of Saudi investors and the Lebara Group. The launch comes after it received one of two licences granted by the industry regulator earlier this year, and signals a new phase in Lebara's ongoing expansion strategy. Hosted by the Mobily network, Lebara's offering is designed to appeal to the estimated 10 million expatriates living in Saudi Arabia. Pre-paid Sim cards and recharge vouchers will be available in Saudi Post and other retailers across the country.
