Lee Enterprises announces CFO Carl Schmidt to retire

Carl G. Schmidt informed the company, which publishes of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and other newspapers, he plans to retire July 1. Schmidt is the vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. The 58-year-old Schmidt joined Lee in 2001.
