Geanie Morrison, our State Representative and chair of the House Environmental Regulations Committee, has introduced a bill, HB 1865, relating to environmental permitting procedures for applications filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. HB 1865 is the companion to SB 709, filed by Senator Troy Fraser, chair of the Senate Natural Resources and Economic Development Committee.
