Most Pittsburgh-area stocks ran out of steam in 2015, a year when the Post-Gazette/Bloomberg index of regional stocks turned in a much worse performance than broader market indexes. Only 15 of the 55 stocks in the index generated positive returns for investors last year, topped by banker TriState Capital Holdings [ ticker: TSC ].
