Consisting of transmitter and receiver, Focus II Light Curtains and Light Grids protect personnel from potentially hazardous machinery, robots, or automated systems by creating protection field with infrared beams, which, if interrupted, trigger safety mechanism that immediately stops machinery. Light curtains are used for inner area closer to machinery, with multiple beams placed 14–30 mm apart, while light grids protect areas further away from machinery using 2–4 beams placed 200–500 mm apart.
