Multi-headed linear motor positioning stage, intended for applications requiring independent control of multiple axis on single plane, is assembled on single piece of aluminum extrusion and driven by independent brushless linear motors. Guided by precision recirculating linear ball bearing blocks on single rail, motors share same magnet track and encoder scale.
