Longtime Charleston employer MeadWestvaco becomes WestRock

A new era for one of the Charleston region's oldest industrial employers begins at the start of business Wednesday. MeadWestvaco Corp. will become part of the newly formed WestRock Corp. to kick off the second half of 2015, the last formal step in its merger with former rival Rock-Tenn Co.
