WD Blue™ ultra slim hard drives and WD Black™ hard drives and solid state hybrid drives (SSHDs) are designed for integration into slim devices and space-constrained computing environments. Storage capacity is 500 GB, and SFF-8784 edge connector receives power from and interfaces with host I/O bus. Acoustics use technologies that reduce noise when drive is active or idle, and respective shock specifications for operation and non-operation are 400 and 1,000 G.
