Low oil prices prompt job cuts at Skiatook, Oklahoma, plant

An Ohio-based company that operates an oil-related product manufacturing plant in Skiatook is laying off 40 of its workers there, a company spokeswoman said Thursday. Worthington Industries in Skiatook employs about 100 workers, and the company cut 40 jobs Tuesday, said Cathy Lyttle, Worthington Industries communications vice president.
