Lubert-Adler now part of new ownership of second largest grocery chain in country

A proposed $9 billion merger between Safeway Inc. and Albertsons has been finalized and that means Lubert-Adler Partners of Philadelphia is now part of the ownership of that newly combined company. Combined, the transaction created the second largest grocery chain in the country.
