Lululemon recently announced that it would donate 250,000 Canadian dollars annually to the Dalai Lama Center for Peace & Education over the next three years. Sterne Agee's Sam Poser and Ben Shamsian think this will only divide Lululemon's customer base further, as evidenced by comments left on the company's blog : What is Lululemon management thinking? It is clear to us that, following last November's inflammatory comments by founder Chip Wilson, that all press is not good press.
