In anticipation for a flood of 10,000 Exxon employees, developers bought acres of land across northwest Houston and In late 2014, the Magnolia-based luxury homebuilder opened model homes in two new communities north of Houston. Energy executives and employees have now begun to buy the first homes in Marion and Wright's Landing.
