MENA Region Sugar Consumption Seen Slowing in 2014

Sugar consumption growth in the Middle East, North Africa will likely slow in 2014 to a rate of 1.5% due to already saturated demand levels coupled with political unrest in parts of the region, said Cyrus Raja, general manager of the world\'s largest standalone sugar refinery Al Khaleej in Dubai.
