For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a MGSE Responsible for their location in Bremen, Germany. With 1200 employees on multiple locations in Germany and 2500 worldwide, this organization is one of the top players in the European space industry. The organization specializes in Systems Engineering and offers hightech solutions for space. These include loworbiting and geostationary satellites for earth observation, navigation, telecommunications, science and space exploration as well as systems for manned space flight, aerial reconnaissance and process control systems. Tasks and Responsibilities Identification of all necessary MGSE mechanical ground support equipment in cooperation with system engineering Preparation of basic solutions and, as a followon activity, generation of specifications for the MGSE Presentation of concepts to the project management and towards the customer MGSE scheduling Contributions to milestone reviews concerning MGSE Selection of possible suppliers in cooperation with the supply chain management Technical interface to the supplier during the manufacturing phase, control of manufacturing progress Participation in reviews at the suppliers Participation in acceptance tests Definition and check of needed documentation manufacturing drawings, manuals, certificates, etc. Introduction of personnel to the use of the MGSE. Experience and Education A university degree or a degree in engineering, focused on mechanics, space technology, physics or comparable qualification Substantiated knowledge in the field of mechanics and mechanical integration Familiar with applicable space standards Good communication skills Good analytical and conceptual skills Sense of responsibility and effectiveness in work are characteristic for you Fluency in spoken and written English.
