MIT researchers develop self-assembling, flywheel-powered miniature robots

Each M-Block robot is a tiny self-contained cube that can leap through the air and connect to other M-Blocks to form larger modular robots. It's a little like Voltron, but with cube-shaped robots instead of lions.
