MSC Industrial opens $55.5M Ohio distribution center

Melville-based MSC Industrial Direct Co., one of Long Island's largest publicly traded companies, opened a 400,000-square-foot distribution center in Columbus, Ohio, this week. The distributor of industrial tools and supplies employs 100 full-time workers at the center, with that number expected to rise to 300 by the end of 2017.
