Madagascar's BIP attracts 10,000 users since launch

(Telecompaper) BIP, a new mobile operator in Madagascar, said it has attracted 10,000 users since the launch two weeks ago of its BIP Sim card, Ecofin reported. BIP, a unit of FAI Blueline, said it has launched a promotion to mark the milestone. The company will give 25 MB worth of additional free data to all users. The company, Madagascar's fourth mobile operator now, launched a Sim card priced at MGA 1500, providing 6 minutes worth of calls and 6 SMS to all operators, plus 20 MB and 500 MGA worth of of credit
