Maine 4.8 MW Landfill Gas-to-Energy Project in the Works

Waste and recycling company Casella Waste Systems and renewable energy provider Aria Energy will develop, construct, own and operate a 4.8 MW landfill gas-to-energy project in Maine. The facility, located at the Juniper Ridge Landfill in Old Town will utilize methane gas generated through organic decomposition in the state-owned landfill .
