Major Bummer: American Apparel Gets Approval to Shutter Oak's LA Stores

This isn't quite the Black Friday sale we had hoped from Oak, the goth-leaning basics brand that ailing American Apparel snapped up two years back. Following the NYC-based label's attempts to save itself from the chopping block, a judge has given its LA-based parent company the green light to shutter Oak's four brick-and-mortar boutiques.
