Union Pacific Railroad officials confirm that a person was fatally struck by a train in Livermore on Friday evening in the area of Murrieta and Stanley boulevards. "A Union Pacific locomotive, heading eastbound, struck an adult male trespasser who sustained fatal injuries," Castillo said.
