Manager AIT Reporting to the Manager, Systems the incumbent works in the front end of the business in capturing new work bids and proposals and at the back of the business in implementation program management. The individual will be involved in product development improving on former or developing new products so must possess a high degree of technical competence and expertise. The candidates should have a proven track record in the space Geocommunications area, having been responsible for communication payload and systems design and management. Hands on experience in Integration and test of complete payloads andor satellites are essential. Able to support the development of new products and ideas, ensures proposals are costed effectively and reflect the best technical solution at the best cost. Specific elements Accountable for working in a safe manner by ensuring that facilities, machinery and equipment are safe to use following safe work practices and legislative requirements protecting the environment promptly reporting concerns, violations, hazards or any workplace incidentaccident to management and participating, as required, in their resolution. 1 Bids and proposals 2 Program management 3 Product development improving on former designs or developing new products 4 Payload budgeting link analysis design review preparation 5 Specification generation Repeater and active passive Units Antenna 6 Technical monitoring of major subcontractors Receivers LTWTAs, Multiplexers 7 Support to AIT test interface design Qualifications Bachelors of Engineering Electrical or Electronics or equivalent experience. 59 years of relevant experience in payload systems and satellite AIT. Engineering Team Leadership experience. Electrical Engineer background, with experience of Electrical Ground Support Equipment design and development. Good Knowledge of industry standards for AIT processes and practices. Managerial experience.
