Manager, Procurement Israel Airport City Key Role Purpose Global Category Manager for Video Equipment and Services Encoding, Monitoring, Transcoding, Playout, Media SaaS Applications, Fibers, other video equipment, and services Heshe may be involved in managing other SES Procurement categories of VMP scope as needed Accountable for the design and execution of procurement strategies and projects ontime, onspec, onbudget and in compliance with SES policies and strategy. Execute on the company strategy on procurement of the inscope equipment and services in close collaboration with the management, Supply Chain, Sales, CSM, Sales engineering, Products, Finance, etc. teams. Works with SESworldwide budget holders to facilitate sourcing and new source development, in coordination with the Global VMP team. Provide leadership and support for active Vendor RelationshipService Management on the relevant categories and geography. Main Responsibilities Category Management develop categories and commodities strategies for Video Equipment and Services Validates with the management the strategies proposed, their full alignment with the company and Department objectives Financial results, Customer Experience, Digital transformation, Flexibility Company Financial Results Contribute to the Company savings and Cash Flow objectives. Vendor Relationship Management VRM Provide leadership to develop worldclass relationships within vendor organizations Customer Experience Ensures that customer experience ultimately drives all engagement with vendors Market Competitive Intelligence Develop efficient channels for capturing effective market intelligence. Processes and Systems Apply VMP and Companys processes, policies, procedures and systems along the sourcing process VMS, vendor account creation and maintenance, saving calculation, reporting, etc Projects involvement support SES projects in a timely manner as needed, integrates into project teams as necessary and takes ownership of all thirdparty procurement. Qualification Experience 4 year technical or business degree Must Masters Degree in Engineering, Telecom, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or Finance Advantage Minimum of 8 years of experience in total, preferably in technical or procurement in technical fields, Fibers, Broadcasting, IT, Engineering, etc. Preferred working experience Working across various Manufacturing or Service Provider organizations, involved in multitasking, multicultural project teams, multinational matrix organization. Preferred procurement experience 5 years of strategic procurement experience, preferably in sourcing categories such as IT, Telecom, Broadcasting Services. Languages Fluent English, oral and written. Competencies Skills Strong negotiation skills, financial analysis, influence management, communications, strategic thinking, team player, ability to multitasking. Management challenge Interprets longterm strategy through definition and delivery of business plans, managesempowers the necessary resource including the coordination of homogenous teams. Establishes and delivers functional objectives. Teamwork Energizes and motivates a team or teams across diverse areas of the business to tackle key business issues and drive forward the strategy Communication and influencing Compiles, interprets and presents information on complex and important issues. Regularly negotiates, persuades and influences people in contentious locally sensitive situations, anticipating and planning for objections and how to overcome them.
