Mandan man driving loader dies in train collision

The North Dakota State Patrol says a 77-year-old Mandan man is dead after the loader he was operating collided with a freight train. The patrol says the man was operating the skid steer loader on a railroad crossing when he was struck by an eastbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe train about 10 miles west of Mandan.
