NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons issued statement after the House passed a well-funded, long-term highway bill, which includes critical language to reauthorize the U.S. Export-Import Bank. According to Timmons, the vote paves the way for modernizing America’s aging infrastructure, reauthorizing a critical trade resource and catching up to compete with the rest of the world. Manufacturers’ success depends on the ability to transport goods and products to consumers and reach new markets.
